HELLO! :)
GOODBYE... :'(
News #1: I helped the Fiance move into his new apartment in SF! :) I'll be staying with him for a little while, so I'm in a house with FIVE other guys...*EEEK* The shower situation is dire, but I think most of them wake up at 5AM-ish for clinic/rotations. That means I can enjoy my showers, 'cus I don't wake until 9AM, tee hee! The only bad thing is... there's no internet. -___-
News #2: Expect 1-2 posts before I move again, and go MIA! I'm leaving my beloved California for the opposite shore! Goodbye my fellow Cali bloggers... Hello to east-coast bloggers! Wait, who is in the east coast?! Contact me now!!! ;P
It'll be difficult leaving the Fiance - he's got 3 years to go in school. *SIGH* At least he'll be helping me settle in. This is the first time we'll be apart since we got together 3 years ago!! AHH! I'll miss my family too. BOO~
I'm really excited to start school, of course! That initial burst of excitement lasted for only 5 minutes tho. Then I got kind of scared. Thoughts of failing, homesick-ness, afraid people won't like me... haha, all these things start to pop into my head. I feel like I'm 16 years old again! *SIGH* I've come to realized how protected and dependent I've been. And damn, I'm in my 20's already, yo! xD
Any tips on how to cope with being apart from loved ones? :'(

Add Commentohhhh nooo Wiggle!!! You are moving to DC?!! *sad face* I haven't even gotten a chance to meet you in person yet :( Good thing is your dear fiance is still here and I know you will be back visiting and stuff often :p Congrats too on Georgetown, that's so exciting!
It mus be tough to have to go so far away, away from your family and your fiance. I've never dealt with long distance relationship before and I have no idea how to cope with that, but I hope you guys will work something out, I am sure you will!! 3 years will pass by in no time :) After he's done with school, you guys can decide where you will settle next! yayyy I am excited about your new life!
Have fun in SF! I'm currently being apart with my bf after 5 years together too, and I'm still coping it :D
Oh nooo! Well the good thing is at least you'd be in the same country? I moved to Australia 5 months ago from Singapore (It's about 7 hours away by plane) for school and it's been really hard on me as well since this is my first time I've been away from my family + friends but trust me it gets better! I'm sure you'll make new friends and fit in just fine ;D GOOD LUCK!
I hope you love DC as much as I do - if you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me (I'm a native, lol)...I'm living in Philly now, but I go home to see my parents now & then and would love to meet up with you sometime :) if you're moving in the summer, be prepared for the humidity - the city is old swampland and the Potomac is smack in the middle of DC and VA!
Being apart from loved ones is difficult at first, but I'm sure once you make a few new friends things will get better...and there's plenty of ways to keep in touch now, which phone calls/texts, emails, and skype!
oh my you're leaving cali -_- but DC should be fun too. good for you and hope you enjoy your life there. good luck!
Oh no, you're moving away?!! WHYYYYYYYY?!!!
How long will you be gone for? Daniel and I were apart one summer. We visited each other on weekends and I eventually moved out of SF to be with him. Make sure you two communicate no matter how busy your schedules are!
*sniffs* We'll miss you. =( Good luck at Georgetown! :D I haven't been in this type of situation but I think making a point to regularly be in contact (phone, email, Skype, whatever) is key. =)

constant phone calls (if not expensive) emails, chat, facebook, skype will help you deal with the long distance relationships :) but don't worry, im sure when you've settled in and start school you will slowly forget about the blues and the time will pass by faster. :)
you can do it babe! always be safe! *BEARHUG* :)
