Whereas, for instance, food bloggers always have lots of people to chat with. When the foodie in a group of friends talks about a specific food, everyone can at least say whether or not they like it. Not so for makeup! Our audience is much more narrow.
Of course, it depends on who your friends are. But I have only one friend with whom I can truly talk makeup with, but she's currently at the other end of the country! Yes, I can "talk" makeup online, but there's something very gratifying about having a face-to-face discussion.
Anyone feel the same way?
Happy Holidays, everyone! I will get a camera soon, and do photo-posts again. It's not the same without visuals, right?

Add Commenthiiiiii wiggle! glad to hear from you again hehe. hope things are doing well w/ u on the east coast, coming home for the holidays??? I totally agree w/ you about makeup talk, i also lack a friend in real life to naturally carry on a conversation with me strictly about makeup -- but blogger babes are great for instances like this hehehe.
Yes, I do feel the same way! I have no one to talk about makeup stuffs beside blogger friends. It's just hard to engage the convo when my friends are not as interested in makeup like I do.
*BIG HUG* Yay im so happy to hear from you again! :D How have you been? As for makeup talk, I have my best friend with who I talk to but sometimes she doesn't understand anything and I feel that like I'm teaching her more stuff than actually having a conversation. Props to beauty bloggers! :)
I feel the same way...most of my friends buy for utilitarian purposes, but not the extent that we do where we derive pleasure from *using the product and *looking and having the product itself hahah funny way to put it I suppose XD
So true! Hence, beauty blogs. Welcome back =D
Totally agree with you on this. And same! My only friend which I can talk makeup with is miles away from me :( She was the one who got me into this whole makeup addiction anyway hehe!
